Wayyanee Kangaroo Court Sentences 24 Convicts.

(OLF News Source-MOA, Finfinnee, June 9, 2010) The Wayyane Kangaroo Federal High Court passed the unusual injustice decision over 24 innocent Oromo nationalists.

According to MOA, OLF News Source, 24 Oromo innocents convicted under the pretext of false allegation of engaging in supporting Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) were sentenced from three and a half years to life in prison.

According to information sent to MOA reporter on Tuesday, the Wayyane Kangaroo Federal High Court sentenced the convicts just based on the political decision given behind the curtain of “judicial system”.

The decision given by the pro-TPLF and members judicial system is based on the false allegation set up by the lawsuit against Aleyu Mumme et.al. file were charged of killing “nine civilians and inflicting injuries on others in Mina Town, East Hararge Zone of Oromia State on August 21,2008”.

The lawsuit added that, “they also broke a warehouse and robbed food grains and edible oil stored for public use”. However, the allegation is totally unfounded and baseless, according to MOA investigative report.
“The TPLF/EPRDF court system is just the reflection of the current government. The decisions and the judgments are from the same house,” said one Oromo political analysts. “It is unbelievable; they arrest, and decided whatever they like. It is just emanating from anti-Oromo outlook,” he added.

The Kangaroo court also added its baseless claims on the innocents by saying, “…opened fire on a government owned vehicle and killed seven persons in the town while destroyed a water tanker truck in 1999 E.C.” and sentenced to life imprisonment on seven while gave 23 years rigorous prison term to one convict.

The Kangaroo court also sentenced 15 convicts to 11 years rigorous prison term. One of the convicts was also sentenced to a three years and a half rigorous jail term.
